Santa Arrives by Fire Truck December 15, 2015

[Camano Island, Wash.] – Children will be listening for the sounds of sleigh bells in the snow and a little “Ho! Ho! Ho!” and, of course, the sight of a fire engine. The Santa Run is back on Camano Island this holiday season.

From 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 15th, firefighters from Camano Island Fire and Rescue will be visiting neighborhoods around the Island to the delight of children and adults. Look for the Santa engine between those hours in the neighborhoods of Madrona, Utsalady Heights, Finisterre, Camaloch, Camano Hills, Onamac, Tillicum, Country Club, and the Vista.

Don’t live in one of these neighborhoods but still want to say hi to Santa? Come see him and his fire engine at the Camano Plaza, the Vista/Madrona Station (273 N. West Camano Dr.), or the Mabana Station (3651 South Camano Dr.) from 5-6 p.m. that same night.

While firefighters will be spreading holiday cheer and handing out candy, they are also accepting donations of canned goods for the Stanwood-Camano Food Bank. All donations are appreciated. All of us at Camano Island Fire and Rescue want to wish all of our neighbors a very merry holiday season!
