Commissioner Meeting Dates
Camano Island Fire and Rescue is governed by a five member Board of Fire Commissioners. Each member is elected by the Public to a six-year term. They meet twice a month with the District Fire Chief to manage the affairs of the Fire District. These meetings are open to the public. They are held Mondays at 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted. Meetings are held at the Fire Administration office and the Mabana Fire Station, unless otherwise noted. Below is the schedule of meetings for 2018. Please refer to this schedule before attending a meeting as dates, times and locations could change due to various factors. Any changes to this schedule will also be listed in the local Stanwood/Camano Newspaper if time permits.

Public Hearing – The 2nd Reading of the Proposed 2019 Budget and Public Hearing will be held at the Board’s regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, October 22nd, at 6pm at the Administration office. All Public is welcomed.
Special Meeting Notice – The Board will continue their Annual Planning Retreat for 2019 on Monday, October 29, 2018, at 10 a.m. at the Administration Office. The Board will also discuss Ambulance Transport Fees.
