Earthquake Preparedness Handbook: Earthquakes can happen anytime without warning. Reducing hazards and knowing what to do can make a big difference in how an earthquake affects your household. Adults and children in the household should talk about what to do when an earthquake happens. This handbook contains helpful tips to use in the event of an earthquake.

Emergency Resource Guide: The Emergency Resource Guide is produced jointly by the Washington State Department of Health and Washington Military Department Emergency Management Division. This 44 page guide is full of useful Information to help you plan and prepare for a variety of emergency situations such as terrorism, biological agents, and nature and weather disasters.

Collective Bargaining Agreement: - This is the most recent Agreement between Camano Island Fire & Rescue and Local 4033.  We are currently in negotiations to update this contract.

Vehicle Rescue Class Training Outline - Class Goal:   In accordance with NFPA 1006 and 1670 the learner, having a minimum training level of Firefighter, shall effectively participate in, perform and/or supervise a technical vehicle rescue event including stabilization, hazard analysis, risk assessment, extrication practices and procedures so that access could be safely gained to a patient compartment of a motor vehicle. 

 

 

Marine Rescue Class Text - In accordance with NFPA 1006 and 1670 the learner, having a minimum training level of Firefighter, shall effectively participate in, perform and/or supervise a technical marine (surface water) rescue.  Surf or swift water rescue components are not addressed in this class.
